It’s a weird feeling, missing someone you barely knew. I can imagine there would have been a huge party tonight. Maybe there still is. I’m sure there’s one up in heaven. 

Your family misses you so much Tanner, your brothers, your parents, your grandparents, your cousins. They are so strong. At Christmas they almost had me convinced that they were all okay. I think about you every single day, and out of such a tragic situation, I learned how to live. 

Happy birthday cousin. I know you were excited about this one. I’ll be having a drink for you tonight.
